Approach
A short point of view on how we work since the tools changed, and on the parts that did not change at all.
We started by building websites and stores for other studios' brands. The builds kept outliving the guidelines: the PDF stayed in a drive while the site, the store and the emails drifted apart. So we made the system itself the deliverable, and then the thinking that tells the system what to say. Metamensaje means metamessage: the idea underneath what a brand says. That is the part we are paid to find.
Ten directions before lunch and a working prototype by the end of the day, for us and for everyone else. Speed and quantity stopped being what you pay a studio for. The work moved to the two ends: the idea that goes in and the call on what comes out.
1
The idea underneath the brand, reached through a wider exploration than before: directions, interactions and prototypes in hours, not weeks. We read the business, the category and the customer before we read the moodboard.
2
One direction, argued. The reasons go into the Brand System file so every later piece can be checked against them. The call is made by someone with taste, in writing, before anything is built.
3
One team designs and builds on Webflow, Shopify and Klaviyo. The idea is carried into every template, not only the homepage. Design in Figma as a system; the build runs from that system with the machine in the loop and a review after every pass.
4
The system lives as variables, components and rules your team and your tools operate. Documentation and a recorded training come with every launch, and we stay reachable after it.
Every brand we work with leaves with a Brand System: the type, the colour rules, the spacing, the voice, the messaging hierarchy and the do-not list, in a form your team, your next vendor and your tools can read. Three parts: Source, Surfaces, Standard. Ours is public.
The tools multiply the options. The call is ours. Founder-led from scope to launch, no handoff. Credits on every case that say exactly what we did and who we did it with. And a no, in writing, when a platform, a feature or an AI idea is going to cost the brand more than it earns.
